Geneva golf course

Geneva Golf Club

Geneva Golf Club, built in 1900, is a 9-hole parkland gem laid out precisely on 40 acres close to downtown Geneva.  This is a golf course that takes you back to how the game was played many years ago on tree-lined bluegrass fairways with small, sloping greens and deep greenside bunkers.  With traditional tee boxes located in close proximity to each green, this is an enjoyable course to walk and it is not terribly long by today’s standards, but a pond and stream that runs through the property can come into play on 8 of the 9 holes.  Therefore, it’s not a course that allows you to necessarily hit your longest club off the tee on every hole.  A par 34 layout without a par 5, there are no holes where a player can easily pick up a lost shot, but each hole is beautiful and fun to play.  Geneva Golf Club utilizes 2 sets of tees to allow the course to play differently from front 9 to back 9.  No matter which tees you choose to play, this is a golf course that is challenging, fun to play, and the nicest walk you can take in Geneva.
